  • Feel isolated or notices changes in their support network.
  • Have people who want to help but aren’t sure what to say or do.

b-present does not provide:

  • Therapy or mental health treatment

  • Medical advice or clinical care

Ways to connect young adults with b-present

Refer a patient

Use our simple referral form and we'll follow up with the young adult directly. We'll recommend resources based on your referral. They choose what happens next based on their preferences.

Share a resource

Prefer to let the young adult explore first? Share our flyer (includes a QR code) so they can review them on their own and they can request resources based on their preferences.

Request materials

Would you like flyers or resources available on hand for your patients? Request printed copies for your clinic, navigation program, counseling office, or AYA program.

are they newly diagnosed or in active treatment?
Consider the Support Starter Kit program

The Support Starter Kit program is a free six-month subscription designed to help young adults diagnosed with cancer stay connected with the people who care about them.  Through shared activities, practical tools, and guided experiences, the program makes it easier for young adults and their supporters to show up for each other throughout the cancer experience.

Where do I find a program overview?

Find answers to common questions about young adult eligibility, enrollment, supporters, deliveries, timing, privacy, and what to expect on our Support Starter Kit program dedicated landing page.

What is needed for enrollment?

Young adults who meet the program’s enrollment eligibility requirements can enroll themselves or give consent to have a health professional or other supporter sign up on their behalf.

What happens after enrollment?

Once the online enrollment form is submitted, b-present manages patient communications, supporter invitations, mailing information, kit fulfillment, and program follow-up.

Not sure how to introduce b-present?

If a young adult is feeling disconnected:

“Sometimes it can be hard to let the people in your life know what kind of support you need, and they may not always know how to help. b-present offers free tools and resources to help you stay connected and make those conversations a little easier. Would you like me to share some information with you?”

If supporters are unsure how to help:

“Sometimes the people who care about you want to help but aren’t sure what to say or do. b-present offers free resources to help them better understand how to support you. You can explore the resources together or share them with the people you choose.”
